The Helios Renewable Energy Project application has been formally accepted for examination by the Planning Inspectorate.
The project, which includes ground-mounted solar arrays and a battery energy storage system, will connect to the National Grid Drax Substation (located to the west of Drax Power Station) via an underground cable.
