TRAFFIC UPDATE: Burn Parish Council, supported by Cliff Lunn, North Yorkshire Council local elected representative, continues to engage with North Yorkshire Highways and North Yorkshire Police regarding the impact of traffic through Burn and the safety of villagers and visitors. The Parish Council is aware of a number of recent incidents that villagers have raised regarding traffic at various places along the A19. A meeting was due to be held with relevant parties prior to Easter but postponed at short notice due to availability of some of the attendees. A further meeting is currently being arranged.
The Parish Council and Cllr Cliff Lunn would like to thank people for their continued understanding regarding this important matter and villagers continuing to flag issues with the Parish Council.
BUS TIMETABLES: Following contact with Arriva and NY Council, we are pleased to report that the bus timetable cases have now been updated to show the new 476 service timings. It’s now up to us ….as it may well be a ‘use it or lose it’ situation!
