Burn’s fifteenth Big Lunch welcomed over 150 people on a day of rather mixed weather last Sunday, 8 June- but we all , I think, had a great time.
Thanks again to Andy and Jo plus staff at The Wheatsheaf, to the ‘village elves’ and helpers who make all these events possible, to Mary and her Selby Community Singers for their rousing , romantic and patriotic wartime songs, Morrisons for vouchers towards the food and to our great village community for dressing up, braving the elements, joining in and donating a fantastic £255 towards our ‘community events fund’.
